Hi, my name is Regi­na Kin­caid. I am a mid­wi­fe and Inter­na­tio­nal Board Cer­ti­fied Lac­ta­ti­on Con­sul­tant with over 15 years expe­ri­ence. I qua­li­fied in 2005 in Würz­burg, Ger­ma­ny and have sin­ce work­ed in mate­r­ni­ty care in Eng­land and Ire­land. In my role as infant fee­ding lead mid­wi­fe at Eal­ing Hos­pi­tal, Lon­don, we achie­ved stage 1 of the WHO Baby­fri­end­ly Hos­pi­tal Initia­ti­ve befo­re I relo­ca­ted to Ire­land with my fami­ly. In Dub­lin, I have work­ed for 3 years in the lac­ta­ti­on team of the Natio­nal Mate­r­ni­ty Hos­pi­tal, one of Europe’s busie­st mate­r­ni­ty hos­pi­tals. Curr­ent­ly, I work in pri­va­te prac­ti­ce in North Dublin.
On a per­so­nal note, I also have 9 years first-hand expe­ri­ence of breast­fee­ding my own 5 child­ren. Due to my own breast­fee­ding jour­neys and having work­ed with count­less mothers and babies over the years, I have deve­lo­ped a true pas­si­on for sup­port­ing breast­fee­ding par­ents. I am deligh­ted to be included in the direc­to­ry of the Still-Lexi­kon to be able to offer lac­ta­ti­on sup­port Europewide.

In Dub­lin habe ich drei Jah­re lang im Still­team des Natio­nal Mate­r­ni­ty Hos­pi­tal gear­bei­tet, einer der am stärks­ten fre­quen­tier­ten Ent­bin­dungs­kli­ni­ken in Euro­pa. Der­zeit arbei­te ich als frei­be­ruf­li­che Still­be­ra­te­rin in Nord-Dublin.
Per­sön­lich habe ich mei­ne eige­nen 5 Kin­der ins­ge­samt 9 Jah­re lang gestillt. Auf­grund mei­ner eige­nen Stil­l­er­fah­rung und der Arbeit mit unzäh­li­gen Müt­tern und Babys im Lau­fe der Jah­re habe ich eine Lei­den­schaft für die Unter­stüt­zung stil­len­der Eltern ent­wi­ckelt. Ich freue mich, in das Ver­zeich­nis des Still-Lexi­kons auf­ge­nom­men zu sein, um euro­pa­weit Still­un­ter­stüt­zung anbie­ten zu können.
